Tables
have been prepared showing the proposed fibre partioning and grouping in
preparation for detailed mechanical routing to take place. The detail is
in the merging of optohybrid fibres into 12-fibre ribbons at the distributed
patch panel and then the filling of patch panel cassettes at the inline
patch panel in the HCAL crack (PP1).

This shows how many ribbons are present in each sector and their provenance.
It also shows the statistics on spare fibre and FED usage. A detailed view
of the usage of cassettes at PP1 is available here

in the table below (which shows the tracker layout schematically) will be
linked as the preparation is completed. These breakdown sheets show the
individual fibres merging into the available 16 exit-sectors to meet the
patch panel in the HCAL crack (PP1). |
