Repair policy:
  1. Fanouts are only repaired if a single fibre out of 12 is broken. Damage to the ribbon will not be repaired. Repair will be carried out over the course of a time between two CMS/Tracker weeks - i.e. not rapidly.
  2. Faulty OEC cards with ARx12 modules must be returned to CERN for analysis. If the ARx12 module is not broken we will recover it and you will not be charged for its replacement. If the ARx12 is damaged, you will be charged for both OEC card and ARx12. A maximum of 10 ARx12s can be replaced as these are unique parts that cannot be re-ordered.
  3. Faulty OEC motherboards and auxilliary cards should be returned to Jean-Paul Dewulf for analysis and possible repair.
